For the first time ever....

Jerry will tell you Bear fan money spends just as well as Panther fan money.

And they don't have that annoying stand up and cheer problem with Bear fans like they do with Panther fans. The Bear fans are bent over double laughing at the Panther players performance all game long.

So, Bears fans weren't exactly standing up, either.

It happened yesterday. At about 3 minutes to go the vast majority of people in the stands were bears fans. Many PSL owners are jumping ship and selling their tickets to other teams fans.

But this year, for the first time ever, I just can't be angry about it.

Afterall, they are just following Jerry Richardson's lead. Cut your losses, save some money, even if it doesn't help you win games.

So I guess we should go ahead and get used to being an away home for the rest of the league.

Some things have to be responded to here. Yesterday was not the first time, and you can bank on it not being the last, that the other team's fans outnumbered our own at the end. Heck, when teams like the Steelers and GB are here, we are outnumbered at the start as well!

I can't speak for other PSL owners, but due to where I live (it's about a 700 mile round trip for me to attend home games) I do not have the luxury of picking and choosing who I sell any extra tickets to. I have eaten my share of them over the years because the fickle, wine and cheese Charlotte fan base will only show up when things are going good. I have heard my share of locals there in Charlotte telling me "let me know when you have tickets to sell", and the vast majority of times when I did, they weren't interested. Now that there are venues like Craigslist and the ticketexchange, that isn't so bad, but I have no control over who buys them, nor do I care anymore. That's the way it is. If some other team's fans want to make the investment to attend, more power to them, especially if it means I can 'cut my losses'. I offer no apologies for that.
