They are just doing what they think is best for the franchise. Fans who only obsess with the immediate success will never see eye to eye with the people who have to protect the long term interests of a business and a sports franchise.

So far, ALL of this has rung true.

Now... if you want to go down to Big Lots and buy a recliner, but pay the same money as if you had gone down to a La-Z-Boy outlet and paid full price, that's fine. You take your crap and be happy.

Personally, I have little interest in a product that is poorly constructed and doesn't perform well, and refuse to pay the same money for it, or show the same interest in it.

Jerry Richardson is not "building for the future" of the Panthers. There was NOTHING stopping him from buying a couple veteran free agents and keeping the GOOD talent he had, and putting a team out there that could have at least had an outside chance at a wildcard. There was no cap this year!

No... he's playing politics with his team, trying to make a statement about "taking back the league". He's messing around with labor (i.e. players) before it was required, and he got burned, and we get to suffer for it as fans.
