Peppers tried doing that with his finger but he got the boo's he deserved. What gets me is he never show boated when he was on our team, but he comes back and provokes the fan's, really Pep? You finally bought you a personality with all that money we gave you?

Yeah that was pretty shitty, but I don't blame him when our fuging penny-pinching owner lets a fan bring in a "Judas Peppers" sign...

I was as pissed as anyone when he left, and even said I don't want him ever associated with our team, even if he goes into the HOF... But, looking back, I'm glad he left man. He might have not gave it all every play but really step back and look at how this franchise is being managed and look at how these fans act... I have every idea that he wanted to leave because of the social aspect as he mentioned people pulling up at his home on Lake Norman trying to look into the house...

Our fan base is showing more and more how small-minded they are... I'm always gonna pull for my hometeams, but I'm so frustrated with the state of both of them right now with the Panthers and Bobcats. And honestly, the only way we'll get better is through the draft in both cases b/c I've come to the realization that no one wants to come here and deal with the franchise/attitude of most fans in this small market when they can go elsewhere and people aren't all in their business.

I mentioned in the gameday chat that I believed Hurney at first about the contract stuff and thought Pep was a lying piece of poo... I don't anymore. I believe Pep is telling the truth - that we didn't even call or offer him a contract this off-season, but he was willing to listen... It falls into line with every other thing that has happened this off-season if you step back and look at it. I think we had a legitimate shot at bringing him back and JR pulled the plug on it and went into his money-insulated fallout chamber waiting for the lockout. Then he's gonna allow someone to come in the stadium with that sign??? lol

Really man, think about it... The way Moose did us was a lot worse. He turned down our offer point blank, and basically signed a contract before the FA period even opened - he was ghost... It was extremely disrespectful. But he didn't catch nearly the same poo as Pep is... And looking at it all now after stepping back from it, it's because we consider him a homestate guy, and he's much more talented than Moose ever was, we're mad b/c we lost him so we've looked for someone to blame.

Time to look at the front office, yet again...

Im glad Peppers made the play he did today (We werent gonna win the game anyway today). Our fan base is so immature and the hostility towards Peppers is blown out of proportion. That play was more of a "f**k you" to those kinds of people in our fan base and I applauded it.

Yes there was a point where he said he wanted out WHEN TURDO WAS OUR DC, but there was also a point later WHEN WE GOT MEEKS where he said he wanted to and was open to a long term extension. But he was never offered one. Yet most of our fan base is too fickle and narrow minded that its much easier to remember a situation that supports there view and just forget about the other.

He nor his agent would not return calls to Marty Hurney to get a deal done, and I'm tired of hearing how he didn't want to leave when he was at the pro bowl as a Panther and said he did not want to resign or for us to franchise tag him cause he did not want to be a Carolina Panther anymore. Then we still put the tag on him and give him a million a game. Screw Peppers

HE provoked the fans? Or the 50,000 boos provoked HIM?

That was the year before his franchise tag. He said he was interested in staying long-term after the tag year. Hurney is the one spreading JR's bullshit propaganda...

They won't let fans stand the fug up and cheer when we're good or need some crowd support on a defensive stand, but you let pieces of poo bring in signs antagonizing a former player? Tell me who's at fault.

I'm guessing you people did not watch the pro bowl right before we franchised him and made him the highest paid defensive end ever. No true Carolina Panther fan could have seen his interview during that game and have any respect for him.

Again, that was over a full year before he signed elsewhere... The next season, the most recent one he played for us, HE SAID HE WAS WILLING TO RE-SIGN WITH US BUT WE DIDN'T EVEN CALL/TEXT HIM. Frame it however you want, this franchise was planning to self-destruct long before opening kick-off and cut all expenses anyway possible.
