I've read from PFT that Edwards is a strong candidate for Colts DC job if/when he is fired. However, I don't even know if the Colts have fired their DC.

Hopefully Panthers will make their move quickly if theiy're going after Edwards.

The Colts haven't fired their DC (Ron Meeks) and all their defensive position coaching slots are filled too. Florio apparently got that from hearsay, and maybe that was based on the Tony Dungy connection. Still, it isn't Dungy's team anymore and Herm has a similar connection with Fox (who's still in charge of his team).

The word around Indy was that Meeks and Tom Moore were going to go into the sunset with Dungy, but Polian talked them both into returning.

The Vagies did move quickly to promote Bill Sheridan to DC. Sheridan was being looked at by Spagnuolo as his DC in St. Louis. Now I wonder if he'll look at McDermott, given they worked together in Philly.
