The weakest part of our team is the pass offense so it makes sense to take a WR or even a QB (if Clausen keeps playing like this). But it's really way too early to decide. We don't even know who's going to declare yet.

Until this DL, OL and QB are solidified I don't take any other positions. Great teams are built around 3 cornerstones, QB, LT and RDE. Now we can argue that LT is set, but QB and DE are not.

Well there might be a Rookie Salary cap to, it's worth to mention. That being said, we need to take a franchise player this year. And you build your franchise around a franchise QB. Get the best on available and build around him. That seems to be the winning philosphy right now.

I agree. Remember when everyone wanted the Rams to pick Suh? And how did that work out? Having a franchise QB makes such a huge difference to a team.

If the Panthers want to go after a qb (which they shouldn't just because the rookie is struggling) it would have to be Jake Locker.

With that said, if we have the top overall pick, we should either pick Patrick Peterson or A.J. Green. I'd be happy with either one of them.
