its time to get a new qb coach in here at the least- my preference would be to fire the whole coaching staff of the offense

Fwiw, that was a nice over the shoulder catch that Edwards made, even if it was out of bounds. If he can do it, and keep it inbounds, then he could turn into a nice receiver.

Yes he did say that. He was diplomatic about it, but effectively he did say Scherer's coaching made him a worse player.

sucks for them they were drafted by a team opteing to deem them starters. They are paid athletes first and foremost. They aren't getting the job done. For a large numbers of things the "rookie" excuse is pretty dang questionable to even use.

And who would you prefer that we use in their place? It's not like we're playing them while Peyton Manning and Austin Miles ride the bench.

This batch of rookies is what we're stuck with, for better or worse. Time to look forward to next year, there is no saving this year. As Bobby Knight said, "The best thing about Freshmen is that they become Sophomores."

One of my biggest fears with Clausen is this. He has a low release point and a slow windup motion. Yet, if they try to fix it, he could end up being worse off.

Moore at QB. Gettis at the #2 when Smith returns. That makes 1 rookie being relied on.

LaFell runs more wrong routes than Jarrett and has bad hands. LaFell and Clausen have a lot of basics they need to work on before they start learning the differences between being on a college football field and a NFL one.

all these reps for future starters doesn't do it for me since Fox is here. It is just a wasted season. New HC could bring in a vet QB and some others WRs. A wasted season so we can find a #3 WR??
