Clausen is hurt and in a horrible offense, but makes generally good decisions.

ALL of the rooks are suffering from a vaginaish coaching staff.

A competent coaching group would help elminate these mistakes and put these guys in place to succeed, not have them in 3rd and f**king forever every series.

not sure how Clausen makes good decisions? He plays scared. That is why he checks down and scrambles so much. Not turning it over doesn't = good decisions are being made. You got to give your team a chance and means you have to be willing to let your teammates go make a play.

Clausen at this point in his career would make a better qb coach than scherer - every player scherer coaches turns to poo and its now happening to Clausen - hes regressing week by week

Moore is the better option right now. With Fox gone, Clausen getting these reps could be pointless.....b/c there is no way to know if Clausen will be in the plans for the next HC.

he checks down, scrambles, and throws the ball away.....instead of looking for plays to develop. That ain't smart QB play no matter who you spin it. He is playing like a scared rookie who isn't ready to be on an NFL field.

I don't like Fox's scheme. But it is what it is.....and if Fox is gonna run this lame offense then you need a QB willing to stay in the pocket, sell the playaction, and take risks downfield.

This is exactly want I'm worried about. Everyone is talking about keeping him in there to get his lumps, but too many lumps too soon will turn him into Marc Bulger (for another example). He was clearly shook against the Bears today.
