It is waaaaaaay too early to start talking about taking a QB first overall. Even if Clausen plays like absolute poo the rest of the year we still won't take a QB for another year or two. We need to give the guy some weapons to throw to that aren't picked up via wavers and other team's practice squads. A.J. Green is a type of receiver that doesn't come around very often and if he jumps to the league after this year I don't see how we don't take him.

I watch ALL football, and I didn't say it was a weak conference big guy; I said it was much weaker than the SEC. If you don't believe that, then you know absolutely NOTHING about football, pac-10 or otherwise.

I don't think the gap between the conferences is that great this year. the SEC is the strongest conference but that doesn't mean much when you're saying something random about The Golden Calf of Bristol playing in a tougher conference than Luck. What does that mean at all?

This is how I see.. You take A.J. Green this year and see if Jimmy can turn the corner... If Jimmy still struggles next year and is indeed and aweful QB, you take Matt Barkley.
