Jimmy Clausen is a Coward

I've honestly had enough. Say what you want about the playcalling, lack of receivers (even though Clausen prefers Gettis over Steve Smith), etc. Clausen's decision making is that of a coward. 3&8 penalty on the ground what do you do? Throw it away.... Doesn't even attempt to complete a pass so that the other team will have to accept the penalty just gives up. No pressure, he could wait for receivers to get open but he just throws it away.

Another drive it's 3&18. Very little pressure and Clausen zooms it to Williams. Doesn't even seem to look down the field.

He threw for 8 yards in the first half. Anyone in the NFL could have done better imo. Armanti Edwards could have done better, Todd Collins could have done better, David Carr could have done better, Randy Fasani could have done better.

Screw this guy I likely won't be posting too much more on this forum. I'll continue watching the team but I just have lost the passion for football thanks to JR's impassionate business decisions and this crappy coaching staff along with young moronic players like Brandon Lafell.

I think Lafell has played worse...

Seriously, these young players drive me nuts. Commits a blatant offensive pass interference then does some taunting celebration and walks down field. I think he's still trying to figure out what happened that play.

Then the entire defense runs off the field celebrating a fumble recovery that never happened.

Can't wait for the bears to switch to prevent so I can hear for the rest of the week how great Clausen played when the defense backed off.

Gee, you call a rookie making his 2nd or 3rd NFL start a coward....

Right dude, LAME

Sorry, I'm not some wine and cheese fan. I believe in accountability regardless of experience. If he can't get the job done he needs to get off the field. My biggest concern is that he doesn't try to make plays. I'd rather see him throwing INTs then standing in the pocket looking scared to do anything. You have to take a risk to make a gain. If you keep checking down and throwing the ball away you'll score 3 points.
