again, Devin Thomas is going into his 3rd season. he had 3 TDs last year, and looked like he was ready to break out. there is a new coach in DC who might want different guys. We don't why hes being cut. That includes you.

You don't cut guys with great talent at minimum salary.

whos excited? I just said he was a good receiver. And if you've seen him play, which I doubt, youd know that. Im not saying hes an all pro. but ive seen him play, and I say hes pretty good.

The Redskins have released Devin Thomas, the third-year receiver who came to Washington with lofty expectations and leaves without having had a single reception in 2010.

Thomas, who started 10 games under Jim Zorn in 2009, has been buried on the depth chart under Mike Shanahan but had been serving as the team's top kick returner. He lined up as a receiver just once in the first four games of 2010.

The Redskins had been trying to trade Thomas but unable to work out a deal, they've instead released him. Running back Keiland Williams will take Thomas's place on the 53-man roster and is expected to play on Sunday, according to a league source.

So he can't play anymore and no other team would give up anything for him.

Sounds like crap to me. No matter how many highlights he had in 2007

dolphins sign a guy from the Canadian Football League who the giants cut.....he will be getting us 10+ sacks for years (cameron wake)

Davone Bess wasnt even "good enough" to get drafted....7 rounds.....not one team.....he is one of the better slot WRs in the league now.....

Thats just the dolphins......sometimes a change of scenery, or a young kid getting humbled with being cut....is the boost they need to step their game up.

I dunno, league minimum, 23 years old, 4.3 40....why not take a chance? panthers have nothing to lose.
