so...you live with a homo and claim your gaydar is broken?

sounds unlikely to me!

Never claimed it broken. I like to hold on to hope he's just a shy kid that doesn't get out much. I mean, I don't feel a huge need to prove my masculinity to somebody on an internet message board, but for anybody that knows me, they know I'm the farthest thing from gay.

Unless you're taking the Jeff Gordon approach to this and saying that my heterosexual relationship of multiple years is a cover up. At which point, I will give up for the sake of not looking like a tool trying to prove himself to somebody he will never meet in real life.

Did he leave some clothes? I came back from class one day and my roommate had packed up and left. Withdrew from his classes and moved back home with his parents. (I bet they were overjoyed!)

This was a month into the Semester. ISU has always had a reputation of being a "suitcase college". (Go to class during the week and then go home/IU/Purdue for the weekend.)

My first reaction was, "All right! I get a single for the rest of the semester!" Then I thought, "Damn, was it something I said or didn't say?" I was a Junior and he was a Freshman.

No such luck on the single. About a week later, I got another Freshman! Actually, he was a pretty good roommate as roommates go. He WAS gay and a crossdresser! Kept the dorm room spotless! I didn't care what he/she did. Between Engineering classes, being a TA in the School of Technology and DJ'ing every Friday and Saturday nights, I was hardly ever there. He/She did make my bed everyday! His parents were LOADED too! Always took me out for Dinner when they came down to see him. (I think his Dad hoped that I would 'Butch' him up some.)
