Armanti Edwards has sea legs for first Carolina Panthers game

I still don't get this "no legs" thing... I can understand not being in "running" shape, but how do your legs leave you?

It's a Hurney-speak for him saying: "He doesn't look like he can play the position we drafted him for, but rather than having egg on our face, we're going to say he doesn't have his legs under him yet."

I love how people expect a college QB to be an awesome WR overnight. How many punts did he return in college? How many routes did he run, or passes did he catch? Yeah it was lame to spend a 2nd round on him. Give the kid a season under his belt before you judge him.

    • Not this year. LB is crazy high unless you can guarantee he’s exactly like Kuechly which is impossible. Also, edge rusher is a no go in this draft. There are some DT/CBs that could go that high but there is no one close to a Bosa, Garrett, Hutchinson, etc. If I had a hope, it would be somehow lucking into Travis Hunter to play CB and use occasionally on offense. Graham at DE opposite Brown could be fun as well. He's the only DL I’ve seen consistently at the top of the rankings. CBS had him 3rd preseason and 4th mid season so he’s been consistently at the top, which is nice to see. He also just turned 21 in September, which I’m a fan of rather than picking so many older rookies that still have to develop.
    • Yes, if he's the best player on the board.  I think some people may be over-valuing him a bit.
    • Never personal he just fuging sucked until yesterday, as I said lets see how he finishes and attack the offseason based on the results
