I don't even care about derailment of threads.

And I understand negativity while losing. Its unavoidable.

but...to come here and read (sometimes repeated to death) how we should have gone for boldin (nevermind he never would have wanted to be here over the ravens) or wishing death upon jerry richardson...or anybody for that matter.

Just two quick examples.

I understand not wanting strick moderation...but if you allow immaturity, threats, and out right stupidity..that is what is alloowed to breed.

I'd say I'm sorry I don't have the time to commit more time to the huddle. And even creating other debates...but I'm sure that's not what majority of you want.

The panthers suck, so the huddle will suck too.

I think the biggest problem for us "oldtimers" here on the huddle is that just about everything is something we've all seen before. Just like life, eventually every debate and every "idea" becomes just another recycled argument. The biggest difference is that now we have stupid gifs and people who are bored enough to derail anything.

It's not Zod's doing or necessarily something he could or should control. It's something that happens every day in a lot of aspects of life. How many times can you re-debate the nuances of X-formation over Y-formation, or who should be in the lineup or not?

What we need is something to come along to blow this place up with shocking or different news. I have a feeling we'll see a change of pace come next year once Fox is gone. That willl be the spark that reinvents this place.. new coach, new philosophy (we hope), and new faces throughout the organization. It will help keep us all from each other's throats and more into seeing what may be around the next corner as we turn it around and start winning those games again...

At least, that's my belief and hope for the future of both the Panthers and the Huddle itself :)

i can see the threads then, though..."we should have given fox a new contract!", "the FO made a mistake hiring _______", " we should have hired jim harbaugh" (that would be mine :lol:), "bring back fox! he still doesn't have a job, right?"

The sad the is, the morons on this site give the people who actually want to talk intelligently about football and other things, a bad name.

yep and as the more intelligent posters run, the place soon turns to a cesspool of thought. running away is the easy and weak thing to do. coming back and complaining about it afterwards is just lame.

This place is worse.

I remember a time when ya could come here and talk panther football with some pretty smart football fans.

Now there isn't a single thread worth opening to read.

Zod must be proud.

I get what you're sayin...

The Huddle has always worn its emotions on its sleeve.

Not much technical football talk- this is going to remain a bitching year-- but it is what it is :)
