If We Can't Beat A Todd Collins Led Team

he is good enough to come in a play a game...and not be the reason they lose.
that wildcard game he played in '06 was lost because of 2 INTs returned for TDs that he threw in the 4th quarter.

those 4 games were the only 4 games he had started in over 10 years and he hasn't started one since. still not sure where you are getting the idea that he's good enough to come into a game and not be the reason they lose. you could say that about anyone, i suppose.

there is no reason that we should lose to him. none.

here are his career numbers...

TD-INT 22-19

Passing yards 4,479

QB Rating 76.0

thats after being drafted in '95 and starting for the bills for a season before he was sent on his way.

he's had 20 starts in 15 years. only 4 since 1997. there is nothing that says we should have any concern about him other than our record against backup QBs (who generally have had a lot more play time than collins has had.)

I don't think he is a threat. I just don't feel confident that our rookies can out score a bad Bears offense. It should be interesting. I think Chicago's odds of less turnovers is better w/ the backup. The game comes down to can we move the ball on the Chicago D......we have struggled scoring with both QBs.....even when given great field position.

This is the easiest win I can see looking at the rest of the season. That is going off the fact that I don't know what other injuries teams will run into. If we lose this game I have lost faith in this organization. Not saying that we are throwing the season away or anything but internally there is something very wrong.
