What we're seeing right now...

Fox doesnt know how to develop a QB.

Jimmy is all on his own here.

I'm not sure how you can come to that conclusion, since Matt Moore is about the only other QB that was even worth developing since Fox has been here, and he is still not really a finished product. It's more on the QB coach and the OC anyway, IMO, because Fox his a defensive coach.

Fox is the head coach. It's his job to put the people in place to do those things. So ultimately the successes and failures of our team fall upon him and to some extent, Marty Hurney. That's why he gets paid 5 million (or whatever it is) a year to be the head coach.

Jeff Davidson is former guard....what does he really know about QB development at this level? Davidson struggles calling in his 4 plays....no way he is going to aid in Clausens development.

To say he's playing like a rookie is an extremely vague statement. Not all rookies are the same.

I think all things considered he's playing about as good as you could expect a rookie qb to play. The bobbled snaps could have happened with a vet qb just as easily as it has Cluasen. More time and practice will obviously correct those mistakes/mishaps.

Clausen hasn't played perfect, but then again its a team sport and qb would have hall of fame type of stats with the the play of the rest of the offense.

I really believe Clausen creates more cause for excitement than he does for dissapointment. Time will tell but so far he's far from being responsible for this teams offensive struggles.

Davidson is also the OC, while Fox is a defensive coach. Now, whether Davidson is doing a good job or not is certainly up for debate, but he and Scherer are obviously more involved in JC's development than Fox is because they are working with him on every practice snap.

Like I've been saying I hope they continue to play him through his ups and downs this year. The struggles plus the in game experience with our young offense all together will only help him out in the long run. All I want to see from JC is progress and him gaining more and more confidence as the season develops. Just follow what Tampa Bay did with Josh Freeman pretty much.

As far as coaching and the playcalling an offensive mind would've been perfect for a guy like Jimmy. Wish we would have reunited J.C. and Weiss this offseason. It's the same reason I want Gruden to help groom Clausen.

People still haven't put CRA and p55 on ignore yet? Wow.

ok, you are right, Jeff Davidson will turn Clausen into a great NFL QB w/ his vast knowleldge.

sorry, but there is no vet QB here, Fox is a defensive guy and Davidson is a retard who played guard.

So that means the only person Jimmy is learning from is a guy that admitted he helped w/ the implosion of Jake Delhomme.
