Talent wise, I don't think we're worse than the 2001 team, but record wise....

is this like how we were one 2nd half meltdown against washington from winning 2 in 2001?

No, because the Redskins sucked that year. They were 0-5 when they played us, so how is that the same?

Playing the defending superbowl champions and playing them down to the wire in a rookie QB's 2nd career NFL start is something to build on. To say we'll go winless after that game is asinine to say the least.

You guys clearly haven't been paying attention.

In the John Fox era, we've certainly had our share of bad starts. Inevitably, this leads to fans thinking "Hey, it sucks, but at least we'll have a high draft pick next year."

Ahhhh, but as soon as you start thinking that - and drooling over next year's top prospects, Fox always finds a way to win enough games to keep us out of the top ten.

Hence, suckage with no reward, and rollercoaster seasons.

I won't be surprised if, no matter how bad it looks now, we somehow wind up missing out on a top five or ten draft spot yet again :(

honestly we will win a game and it will be solely on our defense. Ron Meeks defenses have historically been turnover machines. We'll have like 4 int one game, with one taken to the house. We'll win 1 at least guys, I'm thinking 3-4 though, but towards the end when Cluasen is more seasoned.

And Jeff Davidson offenses have been turnover machines as well. Six in one...

Unlike seasons past, Fox knows he may not be here next year, perhaps he even knows it's likely.

More importantly, so do the players. If as Fiz surmises the losing snowballs, all you'll have late in the season is players auditioning through tape for whoever or wherever they'll be playing next year.
