huddle should be okay, doubt it'll get blacklisted. there are two types of warnings that I've found so far. One is because a site is known to have spyware/malware right on the site (Via an add is the most frequent case), and the other is because it has content that is linked somehow to one that is (as in the case of an image from such a site). The first can easily lead to a blacklist of a site. The other just causes the warning - but I guess maybe after time it would lead to a blacklist.

Better safe than sorry I think. I may also be wrong about the above, I am not an IT professional, just been using Chrome for a while.

I was more worried about the Huddle starting to get blacklisted because of it. Mainly if people are at work and IT department starts blacklisting us. Dont know if that is possible at all. But better to be safe then sorry.

Yes, it is possible. My work's firewall is really anal about alot of things. Im shocked the huddle hasn't been blocked there yet. I already disable everything (sigs, avatars, and images)

It's because most proxy software blocks via category. In a lot of blacklists, sites like this get lumped in a generic sports or sports/news category and you generally don't block sites like that or try to keep people from checking espn or whatever a few times a day. Not worth it and you seem (as a company/IT dept) like less of a total asshole. They still hate you because they can't facebook from work, but this keeps them from bringing handguns :P
