I would be willing to be that no owner of any company makes more than the collective body of their employees. I know the owner of my company makes not even half of what we pay out annually in salaries

You know what i mean, i know better than that. They asked the owners to open the books and see what they are making, and that will never happen. I hope they strike a deal. If we as fans, did not go to the games or watch the games, the owners would be forced to extend the old deal, but we could never get all the fans on board for that. If we could just one weekend have no fans spend a dime at all the stadiums, the owners would sign that old CBA that night

If I owned a team or business, how ever you want to look at it, I would expect to make more than my employees!

As the owner you take the hit in downtime. Negative cash flow is possible.

And if you have a superstar salesman he may make more than you

At some point the the Players need to know that the Owners have them by the balls. Then after that Goodell needs to know that and give them a deal.

Green Bay (the only franchise which has to release numbers) only earned an operating profit of $10 million last year. NFL franchises are billion dollar investments. To make a piddly 5% on their investment the owners would each need ~50 million net profit after taxes.

No, the reason Green Bay opened their books is because they are legally required to. They are publicly traded.

The bottom line is we make all of them rich, would be nice if they thought of us instead of themselves
