man this fight is so one sided...the players are going to inevitably lose......as soon as most of these NFL dudes checks stop being regular they going to be hurting in a bad way....of course it very scary the owners willingness to piss on a product that is so profitable when everyone can see they are making money hand over fist...it took the nba and mlb years for fan to come back after a lock out...you could argue that in the nba they never came back

As far as my ramblings earlier I assumed people were talking about Panther football as a monopoly and not the NFL as a whole. I was posting in between chasing my daughter around the house so please just ignore what I said.

Do you live in WV?

There is a little more to the NBA situation than just the lockout. The star treatment (looking at you LeBron master of the no call charge foul) likely turned many off anyway and the lockout just tipped the scales.

The NFL will probably weather the lockout much better due to the insane rabid fan base surrounding the NFL.

First off I'm not lecturing anyone. I am debating my point of view of why I don't consider the NFL to be a monopoly. If you can't debate without name calling, perhaps you should recuse yourself from the conversation. What is and is not a monopoly is up for debate, hence why congress debated the MBL thing. You shouldn't take poo so personally on a forum debate.
