I don't have a dog in this fight except for the game itself, which is bigger than all of this. That being said, I've never heard anything come out of Smith's mouth that didn't sound like typical legalese, ambulance chasing lawyer bullshit. And education doesn't amount to squadoosh unless you put it to use.

The owners, on the other hand, have kept their collective mouths shut outside of the negotiations and the fans are only left to guess as to what the owners are demanding.

My guess is a decreased revenue package, a rookie salary cap and an 18-game season.

Don't forget, there will no longer be revenue sharing, which is going to handcuff ALL of the small market teams. I guess as long as Jerry Jones is happy, that's all that matters.

God you guys are retarded. Football is not a monopoly. Unless you are talking about Panther football specifically. There are competing markets for football, you know, the other teams and whatnot. No one is forcing you to pay for Panther football.

Football in general is not a necessary commodity and should therefore not even be considered in the true sense of a monopoly in any way. You guys are damn ridiculous.
