What do you think we can get for Peppers.

Anybody think Peppers and his agent already have a team in mind?

I think he does.

I know the Skins don't implement the 3-4 but I pray that is one of the teams he has his eye on. If he makes it known publicly that he wants to be a redskin next year, the panthers f.o. would really have some leverage in negotiating with the big spender Dan Snyder. I think Snyder would throw us a ton of picks for Pep if it became known that pep wanted to be a skin.

granting your points i think (and this may be my homer side coming out) i think Pep is the more complete DE except for his taking plays off. Plus i dont think that Allen being happy with the trade really had anything to do with what/how many picks the Chiefs got. that was more how happy the Vikings were and how much they wanted him. I think we can probably get a 1st and probably a second. i dont think two thirds but maybe a second. but then im sitting on my couch and have no experience in these matters.

NO MATTER WHAT ---

we get AT LEAST 17 million dollars for him.

Cause if we let him walk, thats what we get in return.

(Thats enough to buy 2 good solid players)

Incorrect.

He has 0 cap hit for next season right now.

that would be enough to buy aso and suggs if we wanted.

well, for at least one year of a multi-year contract where they were getting a lot more down the road.

2 first rounders. i think we slap the non-exclusive tag on him. if he wants to go somewhere then he and his agent has to do the work. it takes the burden off of us to find a place. if he can't find a place then we get him for another year for him to try and impress someone by showing up.

win-win for us, imo.

if he gets traded quickly then go after a big name DE, DT, or CB.

the 1st rounders will not be from the same year so it will be easier for some team to swallow.

the good thing about this is WE don't have to find trade partners...he does.

This is exactly what will happen and if I'm not mistaken this is what the Cheifs did with Allen last offseason.
