Again, bitterness talking. You put Peppers on a team where he has..CONSISTENT HELP...from DT's he is going to thrive more, period. RUBBISH for anyone to think he will not have better numbers on a Dline where other players are getting double teamed. Again, if he goes to Jacksonville or Baltimore it's on. I could care less about "Oh well, he wasn't getting double teamed all that often." argument. I don't agree with it, besides that I'm sure he'll like it when an offensive coordinator is not saying "All we have to do is take out Peppers."

peppers excuse isn't too far from it but seeing how many plays he took off i am not surprised.

leaving is always easier than staying and making something work. he tricked himself into believing that it wasn't going to work.

One more thing, the good thing about having actual help is that it frees up a beast more often than not. Trust and believe if/when he goes to a team with a Marcus Stroud or a Henderson at DT he will see less double teams....FACT, BOOK IT.

I'll just agree to disagree. I honestly think some of you are splitting hairs. I get the feeling if he'd signed the long term deal many would be whistling a different tune.

Just don't see how anybody could do what Peppers did on a sub-par defense with a soft defensive scheme. Sort of like what smitty did with 1000yd 6TD+ season with David Carr and Vinny at QB. Also like what Williams did last season with his 5.0yds per carry with a horrible OL. Considering what Peppers worked with he did Damn good. Alas, he'll go to a team with solid DTs and he'll dominate.

Your an idiot, just look at 2007, he had Kris Jenkins as a DT and had 2.5 sacks.
