maybe so...he is a good talent, but we have NO ONE other than Shockey that has had any history of being selfish and it has worked out great. And the only reason Shockey worked out is b/c Peyton worked with him in NY.

I'm paraphrasing here, but remember when Smith said to "Double Trouble" something along the lines of "Hey, I'm not as good as y'all. Believe that. But I'll ride your coattails all the way!"

I really think he was sincere there. Smith is passionate about getting the ball, but what wide receiver with his talent wouldn't be? More often than not, if we're able to get Smith the ball consistently then the win will follow.
