I'm probably going to see Smitty this weekend.

Thank him for being the greatest Panther ever. For being the best receiver in the NFL for around 3 years.

Apologize for the front office not capitalizing on having the best offensive weapon fall in their lap from the 3rd round. A flawed coaching philosophy that didn't properly utilize his talents that is finally coming to an end. Or just fuging up a potential HOF career in general.

Then give him a hug from all of us ungrateful sons of b1tches who may never really fully appreciate what we have with #89 or see what could have been.

best post in this thread. Rep.

Stall, ask Smitty for me....Kobe or LeBron? :D

I just want to see who he thinks is better. :D

uggh, at this point it doesn't even matter who is better.

anyway, I love Smith and hope he returns from his injury, stays healthy, meshes well with Clausen and goes on to have more record setting years in the future. I just worry he won't be the kinda guy who ages well, because he gives his all, and I think half of why he is such a great player is because he can will his body to do the near impossible.

if you really want to give him a message, just tell him he's appreciated and we hope that he and our young offense can hit a stride soon so they can take advantage of everything he is capable of.

Ask him if he wants it as bad as he used to.

This post just sounds really wrong.

Ask him if he has considered demanding a trade, if so what team would he prefer to play for. Honestly I think the best team he could land with at this point is the Texans, he wants to be the number 2 receiver and to be on the opposite side of Andre Johnson, with Schaub slinging the ball around would be by far the greatest receiving threat in the league.

If you ask him a question that could possibly piss him off, I'd suggest wearing a nose guard for the occasion.
