better than a guy who has had 2 duis and has had a chance to start in 2010? in week 4..look I have never seen him play before but I don't know who the hell u people wanted us to pick up now?

I'd say promote Guy from the Practice Squad. At least he's an unknown that might grow.

This cat seems to be Dwayne Jarrett - Part 2: The Jet's Jetsam.

Note - I didn't say dominate, I said good.

This season:

Braylon Edwards (huge name, thus he's going to play whether you hate on him or not), Jerricho Cotchery, Brad Smith (versatile, so he's going to play), Patrick Turner (don't really know)

Last season:

Braylon Edwards, Jerricho Cotchery, Chansi Stuckey, Wallace Wright, Brad Smith

2008

Laverneus Coles, Chansi Stuckey, Jerricho Cotchery, Wallace Wright, Brad Smith

what really good WRs had he been buried behind?? Keep in mind Holmes has never played in a game for NY yet.

Cotchery, Edwards and the pre-Bungles Coles. Brad Smith is a decent wrinkle in the passing offense, but obviously he's more there for the Wildcat. Also, Keller's been getting a ton of looks this year.

Considering they only attempted 393 passes last year (we passed 465 times for comparison), it's not hard to see why anything less than the 2 top WR's would never really do much, especially with a pass catching TE.

He's probably at best a nice # 3, but that's better than what we have.

Exactly. I figure when Smitty comes back, it'll be Smitty/Gettis/Clowney, which gives us tons of speed, and good size with Gettis.

Edwards and Holmes are a formidable duo, the Jets also cut Danny Woodhead who has impressed thus far with the Pats.

I like the move, can't hurt anything.

this.....you people amaze me. You bitch about us signing somebody, anybody. Now that we sign a guy who has had little chances, and potential to be decent you bitch some more.
