That didn't take long.

The same day WR Dwayne Jarrett was arrested for his second drunk driving charge, he's been released by the Panthers, according to a league source.

There's no word yet on who'll replace him on the roster, but they could have put in a waiver-cliam on recently released Jets WR David Clowney, or they could promote Trent Guy from the practice squad.

We'll have more on this as it develops.
