Juiced up D-bags yelling at ghosts isnt entertaining...although i did laugh when they pulled out some "instrument" that translated what the ghosts were saying..

My fav now is Celebrity Ghost Stories and My Ghost Story.

And when did Kris Williams quit?

I can't remember if she quit or got fired. Basically, she got into the business of ghost hunting because she had an experience as a kid. She was interested in it, and got with TAPS. Well, after the first season or 2, they started rigging things (allegedly). She found out (I believe in an interview, she said she heard one of the guys tell another "did you pack the fishing line?") and voiced her opinion. After that, she was gone.

There is actually a pretty lengthy interview with her on some radio show. I found it before. If I find it again I will post it.

I admit I watched it for a while, but when they started faking stuff, I was done...

I can't really blame them, as it is tough to keep a show going and not-so-intelligent people entertained if you don't have some off the wall stuff happening...

...just ask Bear Grylls..

Things like Ghost Hunters struggle only because they need so much film in so little time. There may actually be some stuff now that ISN'T faked that the viewers see, but they don't know it's real because of the flawed reputation that they have now. Truth be told, odd stuff in ghost hunts rarely happen. It usually is nothing more than "feeling" like something is off, and hearing about feeling odd and what not isn't good TV.

I know a couple guys in the Wilmington area that are part of a ghost hunting "group" for lack of a better term. Said that they have only had 1 real experience/piece of evidence (on the battleship). Outside of that, they said that in 2+ years of doing it, they hardly get any evidence worth a damn.
