Damon Wayans returning to ABC with new show

Wayans, who starred for five seasons on the Alphabet's "My Wife and Kids," is reteaming with Don Reo to develop a new comedy for the network.

The untitled project would star Wayans as an actor who plays America's favorite dad in a sitcom -- but whose family is not nearly as functional in real life.

Reo, who created "My Wife and Kids" with Wayans, will once again exec produce with the thesp.

ABC Studios is behind the multi-camera comedy.

I still watch My Wife and Kids re-runs to this day...never got a proper Series finale which pissed me off.

my wife and kids was not half bad. Was a little too cheesy but I have watched it a decent amount.

I probably wont watch this one. He gets borderline Disney channel sometimes.
