I mean I only boo the teams we play or any player associated with the falcons, saints or bucs. The rest just isn't worth my time. Shiit I have been booing my own team more than others this year.

Totally different situations:

McNabb was the leader of that team for a decade. He took them to multiple NFC Championship games and a Super Bowl despite being hated by most Eagles fans from the day he was drafted, which he never publicly complained about.

Peppers was a super talent that was, for most of his stay here, was loved by the fans. Then once he was asked to become a leader for the team he got scared and stuck his tail between his legs until the day that he could walk out the door and not have to worry about people putting expectations on him.

why boo Peppers? He is the best DE to suit up for us and honored his contract.....caused zero problems in the lockerroom and provided some great play. In addition to that, he is generally thought of to be a pretty nice guy.

He made a business decisions to leave after his contract was up.

Peppers CHOSE to leave. We offered him money, and he didn't take it. He wasn't forced out.

Seriously. I mean it sucks that he wanted to leave. I hated to see him go. He absolutely was the best defensive player in team history. But Peppers gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

I don't know what goes on behind closed doors. There could be a million reasons why he wanted out (plenty of which have nothing to do with football). Whatever his real reasons for needing to leave are, I respect that. It's not like he left and said "f**k charlotte" or "matt moore's gay" or "i hope the panthers lose".

I don't see how some people can hate him so much. I don't expect people to still love him and cheer for him, but booing him is ignorant and makes us look like all the other fanbases that I hate (philly, NYJ, dallas).
