Clausen versus Weinke- a better comparison

Because moore has every right to play as well. He is every bit as much the future of this franchise as Clausen is right now. He lost his job because he played poorly for 2 games. Now Clausen has done the same thing.

Seems to me that after 4 games Clausen has shown nothing more than Moore. In my mind things are wide open again. Give Clausen one more week. If he still sucks, then after the bye put in Moore.

That went out the window the minute we drafted Clausen..not saying he is the franchise but Moore would have had to play out of his mind to get a real shot at the franchise.

Instead of crying over a career back up why don't you support what is going to be your QB for a very long time to come?

Stats don't lie...Clausen has made mistakes and will make more of them. He has looked bad at times but never lost (like Matt did) he has also shown glimpses of what could be...i.e. pass to Gettis on 4th down...perfect pass and great catch...

We have a great running game, decent line if a QB is a threat and limits w/ defenses can throw at an OL (as pointed out by actual players to be the problem), not a Ravens D but a pretty solid one, and a top tier WR.

Flacco did what was needed to win. He looked much more confident and in control. Again, Joe Flacco was 2-0 to start the season.....why would they bench a rookie who did what he had to do? Flacco's stats may not of been impressive....he however was if you recall as a rookie his play was.

How about the fact it wasn't against terrible teams. I think 7 of the 8 teams he faced prior this season finished w/ winning records. 1 of those starters rested. Plenty of those teams had a lot to play for.
