Something to Think About: Clausen vs Bradford

I wasn't defending the dickweed at all, just saying that Bradford was a good college QB and I said all along he would be a good pro.

Bradford didn't always start in the shotgun, though I was used more than not. He had some experience under center. While technically OU does run a spread, they'll also use 2 TE sets, multiple backs, etc.

I'm an OU fan and watch most of their games the last few years. He wasn't hurt a lot, it was a recurring shoulder problem that took a pounding in consecutive games.

Hey guys I read some stuff on the internet about football most of it went over my head but here's my fluffed up opinion on Sam Bradford based on watching one game hope you guys like it!

Show me where I said I only watched one game?

Again, keep building up your strawman delhomo. You don't like it if I state an opinion, then you don't like it when I state a fact and offer up a credible source for proof. Hmmm, seems like you just don't like my posts. Personal? It's okay if your daddy didn't love you.

People don't like it when you tell them to get off your jock Harrrrdy harrrr hurrrrr

Yeah I knew that much about him and OU. And the shoulder injury was a huge story... I know he injured it twice. I was just saying, I'm not a Bradford expert, but I knew draft analysts mentioned the offense he was coming out of as a concern, not as much as the injuries, but they still talked about it. I watched several games, but I just wasn't sure how legit he was IMHO at the time because of all the guys that came out of there before playing in the that offense - Huepel (sp?), White?, Bomar (although he transferred later)... Hey, I just did that without research, maybe someone will critique me on how technically Bomar never was an Oklahoma QB now... lol.

I watched several OU games, you can't help it as they are on Nat'l TV b/c program is typically pretty highly ranked and all... I know I'm not an expert on anything that is OU, but I know a lot more than the casual fan and as I said, I don't like some dick rummaging through a post and finding a point furthest from the subject matter and de-railing a thread like delhomo does.

Thanks for your posts though JOAT.

Bradford's strength was his deadly accuracy, which is one of the few skills that carries over to the NFL.

The only small question marks were his shoulder and of course the unknowable of "how will this guy respond to $50 million guaranteed dollars in his bank account" concern. These were small. Anything else was the nitpicking that comes with the territory of being the first overall pick.

As soon as he threw and showed that he was healthy, it was a done deal that he was going to the Rams. He's that good.

At least Bradford puts his team into a position where they have a chance at winning. At least they have some offense. We have better weapons than the Rams, and can't even put up half the points.

Maybe I watched a different game but I was fairly certain we were in a position to win it yesterday

Bradford is like Vick he can be a really good quarterback but you are rolling the dice with that glass shoulder every time he steps on the field.

As someone with a similar shoulder injury I can tell you that the shoulder is NEVER the same. It never will be. That's the risk.

Don't you know?

Any QB that has the nerve to take the field over the great Moore stands no chance of ever being a good QB.

The only solution to the problem is to put the Mighty Moore back in.
