Why is D-Will getting 10 carries a game

He needs 20+ a game but the problem definately is time of possession. We just cant get first downs and keep the football and while the defense has played decent football they struggle getting teams off the field.

The lack of any passing game really hurts Williams from the standpoint that we just cant sustain drives.

Im not for trading this person or that person but if something happens I dearly want to keep Deangelo the kid is special Stew for James Jones and we need a 3rd round. Now that i think about it Stew in GB might make him look like a bigger stronger faster ryan grant that's 18-19 hundred yards damn.

This. We ran 47 plays. The Saints ran 79. To get more carries, we have to run more plays. And since we can't run Williams and Stewart every single play, that basically means we have to pass a little more efficiently.

Pretty much.

Right about half the plays were called passes (a few of which turned into rushes by Clausen).

Of the rush plays, right at about half were runs to Williams, so a quarter of the total plays.

It's not such a bad balance. We need more offensive plays for certain, but the distribution wasn't so bad.

New Orleans converted 60% of their third down opportunities we converted 30%. That doesn't include the first downs they made on first or second down. Overall they had 27 first downs and we had 10.

We ran 23 times and threw 24(including sacks)- who did get many carries or touches??

When your offense is that bad no one looks good or gets very many touches.

Exactly. It's hard to believe that some of our fans aren't bright enough to figure this out for themselves.
