mike singletary as panthers head coach? yes or no

he is on the hot seat big time in san fran. we got better talent they they do with the exception of frank gore. what do you guys think of a hard ass coach like singletary running the show here in carolina? i would be all for it

I have been debating starting a thread, thanks for doing it.

Singletary was one of my gets a few years ago, but now? Not so sure anymore. The 49ers are a young team also and he hasn't done much with them. I guess if Meeks is out with the rest of the coaching staff, I'd like to see him as our D coordinator, but as Head Coach. I just don't know...

you must not watch alot of football because gore is a beast with better numbers and alot better receiver out of the backfield than either deangelo or stewart. i would take gore in a heart beat

They did not get him immediately after Cleveland fired him.

He gets a LOT of leeway because of the player he was.

He hasn't shown anything whatsoever to suggest he's a worthwhile HC. He'd be moving from a young team (that he failed to improve) to an even younger team.

I think he might end up as a DC somewhere down the line, but no way do I take him as HC.
