I don't understand fans. If Clausen had been given the orders to pass the ball, fans would have bitched about not running the ball. When the running backs are given the order to run the ball, fans bitch about not passing it. There was plenty of time to get the ball down field regardless of the chosen plays. They weren't executed well enough, and the poor offensive line certainly didn't help the situation in either case.

None of you would be bitching about D-Will's decision if he had broken the tackle and scored. It was extremely close and we've all seen him break that for a long run dozens of times. I blame the O-Line moreso than Davidson...they have been pathetic all season and you just cannot give up a sack in that situation. Props to Gettis for a hell of a catch though.

Thank you!! People here seem to think that the players have nothing to do with the outcome of the game unless they win. Losing goes all on the coaches. IMO the play calling was much, much better this game. If those last few plays had been well executed, we would've won.

Sorry both runs were stupid as hell. We were trying to take time off the clock, because we were already assuming that we would get a FG there, instead of going for the jugular by passing, and making sure we would get in range, if not a TD. Stupid, stupid stupid.

We had this game, and running the ball with no time outs and getting negative yards is just ridiculous! Why not though the ball and set up a game winning field goal. I'm so damn heated right now I don't know what the hell to do.

if he takes the 2 inside we are likely looking at a kasey attempt at the end. the play calling was all to get that chance, and that huge risk chance he took caused us 5+ yards there and forced a rookie that was not supposed to see the field this year have to be asked to make a play. as many times as he has broken one, he has a bunch of negitive yardage ones. in that situation the last thing you could have is a negitive yardage play with no timeouts under 2 min to go. sorry but it was absolutely the wrong move. he breaks it everyone looks the other way, but that was not the right decision regaurdless of the outcome.

as for the playcalling that drive, lets see we have 2 rookie wrs out there, a guy that has barely been active his 4 years here and 2 rbs that ran for 1100+ yards each last year. i was hoping we could pull a actuall drive out of our ass, but this team had issues moving the ball the entire year and preseason. the gettis catch bailed out the horrible protection there at the end. then the run after it set us close to kasey's season long. the 2nd run was to burn the clock on the saints (they had no time outs at that point). gain a few yards instead of going back and its a kick for the win with the best player on the panthers. hell he has always been the best player on the team. instead we go back and ask a bunch of rookies to convert with no time outs in a hostile enviroment. cant blame clausen or the playcall up after that. i have little issue with that run, its the execution that killed it. dwill effectively said to hell with this and tried to do it all by himself in a situation where failure was not an option.

the defense was great. the offense has been shitastic. from the line to qbs to the wrs, they have all sucked hard. idk, but playcalling is secondary to the line and wrs. if they execute we might actually have a win or 2. its a pita trying to blame or defend the staff on offense with a buch of rooks out there at WR and a rook QB. it really limits the team at this point. i blame richardson for not bringing in a wr (houshmandzadeh was clutch for balt and cheap too) to help the other wrs and the wrs. right now its a team learning to be pros on the job.

people will get there wish, fox davidson and likely meeks will get the ax for this season, but they were put in a box here by richardson and/or hurney with trusting a bunch of inexperianced wrs, qbs, and dl with no vet leadership (outside of smitty, who as a mentor i question at wr). do they need to go, imo yeah, davidson is in over his head and fox is out of time here (he needed to have a playoff season to stay, setup to fail but w/e).

What did we wanna have to make a 50 plus yarder? I couldnt believe we did not run some type of hurry up, that has been our best offense this season. But instead, we tried to set Kasay up for a 50 yarder and were very content in doing so. No excuses at all.

With a rookie qb and our best reciever and best receiving running back hurt? Fox or Davidson or whomever called them made the right call. The players didn't execute, its as simple as that.

The Saints fumbles were by great plays from the Panthers, such as when Martin plastered lil Moore, the Saints FR of course, came from the other teams carelessness. Been a year and counting the Stains win like that.
