why? he simply is. Jerry Richardson told him to go find a job this offseason and that he would let him out of his contract. Fox couldn't find a job so Jerry so okay, you can play out your last year.

Hurney said he would not sign his deal if Fox wasn't offered a deal. Marty signed his deal right after he and Fox came of their vacation together with their families. Hurney's deal sat on the table for a long time because of this. What makes you think Fox hasn't been offered a deal? Maybe he hasn't signed one since his buddy and the owner didn't give him any of the tools it takes to win with. Maybe he hasn't signed a deal since the owner can't even get along with his own family and fires them from his team. There's more to this story than is getting released, but thats our management

Jesus people! Most of you are missing the point. Maybe Moore was yanked too early but whats done is done. Jimmy is Carolina's QB. He didn't look great, but he improved from last week. He's a friggin' rookie! I like Matt Moore and was hoping for his success, and I think he did get yanked early, but I understand why. Jimmy's not the greatest yet, but may be a pro bowler one day. Or not. Who the hell knows! You can't bitch one way or the other because it's too early in his career. Whether you like it or not Jimmy is "our" QB. I think he did well considering.

He didn't have play clock issues in the first quarter. Do you watch your game on mute? They clearly said there was headset malfunction in his helmet. Yea it sucked, but wasn't his fault. I swear some of you are downright ridiculous if you expected him to do better than he did today. He did just about as well as you can expect from a rookie QB playing in the Panthers offense run by the mentally handicap, not to mention having no real weapons to throw to.
