Moore's body of work suggests it was a bad game. Moore's body of work suggests he gets Steve Smith the ball and looks downfield (which is key in a playaction offense).

Clausen will probably be here next season. Could easily be on the bench w/ a clipboard when the new coach arrives. Bradford looks miles ahead of Clausen (the pro ready QB) with basics required of the position.

I ain't out to knock Jimmy. He just hasn't earned the praise he is getting. He hasn't looked good.

Bradford had the whole offseason and preseason with the first team. He had two more games starting then Jimmy. Obviously he's going ot show more at this point in the season.

In Fairness to you CRA, you do always breakdown things well and take a critical point of view. I don't think people are heaping loads of praise on Clausen, I just think they are feeling something they didn't feel with Moore.. Hope. You get the sense with Clausen that we can come back on some of these 10 point defecits. With Moore it felt like the game was over when we were down 7.

No, he doesn't look David Carr. I agree with you that he's wasn't spectacular but he's by no mean terrible like your making him out to be. So he can't get the ball to Steve Smith yet. You do realize that he didn't work with Steve Smith until he was named the starter. That's gonna take time to develop.

I am just not delusional and willing to spin poor play as good play.

I am fine w/ Clausen playing. We aren't playing to win this year anyway by the road Jerry put us on. Playing time for rookies will better prepare them and start them on their NFL path sooner. That is a good thing. The young guys are going to take a lot of lumps and they might as well do it all together.....and be more NFL ready for when the new coach gets here.

but, Moore gives us the best chance to win right now. Winning right now is really irrelevant and building for the future is more important this season(so playing Clausen is fine). We aren't a playoff team no matter who starts. But again, you are kidding yourself if you think Clausen gives us a better chance to win than Moore right now.

the only negative and thing I am concerned about is Fox's impact on Clausen. I don't mind Clausen taking his lumps and playing out the year. I mind Fox and his lame offense making Clausen's bad habits even worse.....and hurting what could be a promising young player.

Moore always started when our season's were done for. He never had any pressure to win or lose. I think we all seen how great he is as the guy after the first two games this season. Plus if the coaches are willing to give Jimmy the job after only two starts by Matt, they have no confidence in Matt.

Why y'all talking about Moore or Smitty? Guess what? One is not playing here after December and the other is hurt (and might try to get out himself) Clausen has looked better and better each week and will get even better. I was not happy we drafted him, but he is looking like your QB so you better get used to it or become a Sam Bradford/Ram fan. k? k.

Fox showed in 07 and 09 he had no faith in Moore. We all know Moore isn't a Fox guy. Fox benching him entirely too quickly wasn't a surprise.
