Panthers Halftime Adjustments...

Ok guys, halftime adjustments...

DWill is doing pretty well with 5 ypc... Let's sit him and let Stew show what he can do!

JA is playing with fire, but we don't have the LB depth to really sit him at this point so not much we can do there...

OL is having trouble keeping the pocket secure, so let's make sure we have more no back sets on 3rd and long.

Anything else!?

I have an idea for an adjustment...when it's 3rd and 4, you have an O-line that's struggling a little bit, and a rookie QB, how about not running all the WR's 20yds downfield and leaving only one short checkdown option? How in the world does anybody expect JC to succeed when he has to stand there and wait on 20yd routes to develop. For crying out loud Davidson, there is nothing wrong with a 5-6yd pass on 3rd and 4.

    • Hornets actually have good young talent, but they just can't play good team ball.   Lee doesn't look like a good hire at HC so far.
    • Apparently it did no good. Getting spanked by the Wizards…again!
    • I'd be looking at mid to late round QBs every single draft simply because the potential ROI is so high. Hell, even if I have an entrenched starter and backup that wouldn't change the equation. Hit on one and I'd trade my entrenched backup to a desperate team and now I have a quality backup in a rookie contract to protect cap space and a potential asset to trade down the road or hell even develop into a starter if my starter is aging or has a career detailing injury or maybe the young guy simply proves to be better at some point. Once you get the the 4th or 5th round you're basically throwing darts at the board hoping to hit on something at that point. Most of those guys will prove to not be long for the league anyway.  I'm not saying reach on a guy just because he's a QB but if I have similarly rated prospects on the board and we're talking about a FB, a blocking TE, and a  OG with limited upside, well that's a no brainer to me. Roll the dice on the QB.
