There was a debate about this in one of my classes. Breast cancer separates itself in other diseases becasue it just happens to people for no apparent reason other than genes (like testicular cancer). Sure heart disease kills more but this disease is often a result of a habit or behavior like lung, sometimes liver, mouth and skin etc.

Shouldn't there be more awareness for diseases caused by habits/behavior? There's room for an intervention with those. With breast cancer all you can do is tell women to touch themselves and it's just vulgar frankly.

I do support breast cancer awareness, however there is not anything for prostate cancer. Look up the statistics...men are way more likely to get prostate cancer than women getting breast cancer.
