didn't jimmy break some accuracy records at Notre Dame or something like that? Only threw like 5 interceptions last year. Why did this guy say his accuracy sucks?

cause he doesn't have a clue, guys like luck & mallet are the popular "future of the franchise" qb's in next years draft, only time will tell if they live up to the hype pretty much like clausen,The Golden Calf of Bristol,mccoy &bradford

If Clausen was all that, he would have gotten Notre Dame to a BCS bowl game. Their defense was bad, but if he was really a superstar QB, he'd be unstoppable and ND would have averaged 40ppg.

Truth is, Clausen isn't out of this world. He's someone who's been groomed at a young age, been put into the best football programs and been hyped up to be a great QB.

If Jimmy Clausen went to San Diego State or UNLV, he would be a practice squad QB on the Raiders.

i guess dan marino must suck cause he has no rings and some guy named peyton must be average cause he only has one, YOU DO REALIZE THAT FOOTBALL IS A TEAM SPORT

How can you even compare Luck and Mallett to scrubs like Clausen, The Golden Calf of Bristol and McCoy??? Don't even put them down to that level.

Bradford, OK. I can understand. He's actually an NFL talent, he belongs in the company of Luck and Mallett.

I don't even like Mallett that much, he's Drew Bledsoe 2.0

Luck is definitely Marino though. I guarantee it.

If the Panthers know what's good for them, they'll draft Andrew Luck and apologize for the abomination that is Jimmy Clausen

Wasn't Locker the "best QB in the draft" and the "future of a franchise" just a couple months ago?

pretty much until his meltdown against nebraska, like some others mentioned he will probably be one the qb's that is hyped up around next years draft after the combine and workouts

David Carr was an awesome QB at Fresno State. If only the Panthers had held onto him....

This franchise is pathetic as far as QB history goes. I'd even go as far as to say Beurlein was the best ever and that's pretty sad :cool:

This whole thread is retarted... anyone who knows anything knows that you can't determine if a quarterback is a bust or not after one game. Peyton Manning didnt have a great rookie season, look at him now, Josh Freemans gotten a whole lot better since last year. Ridiculous.
