Schottenheimer: Adamantly says no not in market,done coaching..

Says if he walked into the locker room, which he has'nt but if he did didnt think you'd find alot of confidence in the qb's.

says the jets success with Sanchez was as much a function of their defense and strong running game.

It all starts with the qb on offense and stability at the position.

said he's lived in charlotte for five years and we still havent gotten an opposite threat to steve smith

didnt bash fox directly but made no effort to defend him, said we have the lowest scoring offense in the league and it needs to be addressed

Marty told me last week on Sirius that he would may have won several Super Bowls if not for Mr. Elway and Mr. Smith and would entertain the right offer to coach again cause that was a void in his coaching career. Guess we are not that job according to this thread.

LT too, Brees was his BFF on the team back in the day. then he was stuck with some dude from NC State that wouldn't shut his mouth and throws like a girl.

Even if Marty Schottenheimer was interested in the coaching job in Carolina, which I think he still could be, he wouldn't answer that question any other way. Until Fox is officially gone, not one coach in the entire country is interested in the job. Just the way the business works.

Gotten to sit and talk with him a couple times at Panthers camp. One of the advantages of being a Sirius listener-Getting to sit in on the broadcast when Movin the Chains comes to camp. But yeah, he's been saying he's done for at least the last 3 years.
