Jarrett says agent discussed trade option with Panthers in the offseason

Why was Jarrett not traded as he and Agent Requested ?

When people trade things they trade a value for a value

What has Jarrett done in his limeted playing time or in camp or in pre-season to establish Value ?

Yes he has had limited playing time as a Panther,

But what has he achieved in the times he did get open and catch the ball, that would make any team jump up and say we want Jarrett!

Maybe he was not traded B/C he has no Value to any other team

But he does not get playing time to establish value

Then it would beehoove Mr Jarrett to overextend himself when he does get on the field and do something to create Value

Quick question. Was anyone of you on the Dwayne Jarrett bandwagon earlier before preseason? Please stand up and admit you were wrong.

Until he is given a chance and proves he is the guy the message board claims he is and not the guy he appears to be in those briefs moments on the field......I am still on the bandwagon.

He should be cut though as Fox won't play him. No way to justify keeping regardless if you are on or off the bandwagon

Eff all you haters...

You are the same reason Pep wanted out of town... what with all your pitchforks and torches and all...

To prove the overall idiocy of our fan base, we still have people who exalt Jake Delhomme as something more than an average QB...

The bottom line is that once players get in your own doghouses, you go the same route as Fox and diss them... You play favorites and don't root for the team as a whole...

For once, I would like to see Jarrett start 5 consecutive games where our QB has enough time to throw the ball, which is setup by our success in the run game, a special teams game that is at least average, and with a defense that can remain stout the entire game and keep the opposition out of the endzone...

The sad fact is, that Fox hasn't setup that opportunity for anyone, especially Jarrett, any time within the past seven years or so... For that reason alone, it is time for Fox to go...

We have been consistently inconsistent, and it is kind of hard for young players, hell even vets, to have any sort of success in that kind of system...

I'd settle for 2 starts. I think 2 starts he would force the Panthers to continue to start him or cut him.

May as well say this for the five millionth time. Earlier in the year Hurney gave a radio interview. Jarrett was discussed. Hurney said this about DJ...

"It's up to him if he starts."

You got that? It's not Fox holding him back, it's not JR telling them to start someone else, it's not Davidson refusing to use him in the gameplan, and it's not the QB not wanting to a guy who "catches everything thrown to him". It's JARRETT. He's showing people off-camera something that doesn't sit right with them. They don't trust him. They don't believe in him. If Jarrett did the right things, off-camera, he'd start.

It's time the last handful of you guys let goooooo. I think there are maybe five left? It's taken four years now, but we're almost there!

pretty sure that was just your everyday standard nothing remark from Hurney. Like Hurney is going to point out Fox's flaws on the radio.

again, if he was showing all this stuff off the field in addition not getting on the field he would have been cut. Jarrett has looked solid when put on the field.
