Jarrett says agent discussed trade option with Panthers in the offseason

Pretty much.

I still think the only reason he's still on roster is they're hoping someone loses a guy and has a desperate enough need to give up something for him.

In this economy you can find guys to clean toilets anywhere.

why are we pretending he doesn't suck? a refrigerator could earn a higher place on the depth chart than dwayne jarret.

Because everytime the ball is thrown his way he catches it. He might not now how to line up or the book but he can catch the ball.

Awkward.

I mean, really, I've got to defend the guy.

I have to.

He's had great character since that stupid DUI since his first year.

He's proved himself on the field, and he's been patient and understanding with this team despite the fact that he's getting effed in the a.

They don't even give him a straight up answer for why they won't play him.

Remember what they told him when he confronted them?

"We're just trying out different things with the rookies"

So, what your saying is, is that you can't trade him, you won't play him, but you can't get rid of him either?

Not to worry, Fox will keep him inactive for the majority of the season and he'll quietly go elsewhere before the next football season (2012).

All he's done during his stay in Charlotte was catch just about everything that's been thrown his way. I have yet to figure out why he sucks so bad when all he does is catch passes... when he gets thrown to... when he gets playing time.

part of being an nfl wide receiver is going where the qb thinks you're going to.
