Jarrett says agent discussed trade option with Panthers in the offseason

Oh, I'm not saying he doesn't. Only reason I posted anything was because there are certain people that complain about another certain person because he doesn't throw the ball down the field but yet adamantly support someone who's career AVG is 12 yards, with the help of 2 catches for 20 yards each this year.

I was just confused by that...nothing more.

A couple of good catches does not accurately represent a players body of work

In other words; every dog has their day

Now to be fair to him, I recall 23 of his 35 career catches resulting in 1st downs. However, it's the 35 career catches in 3+ years that proves he's a bust. I think all Panther fans have wanted this guy to do well, including the coaches and FO. But there's a reason the guy does not play, it's called talent and ability. As far as a trade is concerned...LOL!!! Trade for what, what the hell would we get in return for Jarrett?

A Twinkie and a 6 pack of PBR.. Fair Trade Value.

Jarrett also asked for a release. He asked for any option to not be in a Panther uniform. Again, people bash this kid for organizational mistakes more than his own.

I agree that the organization has mishandled this situation since last year. He has done little to help his situation though in terms of performance.

Look his record speaks for itself, I'm sure the Panthers are holding on to this jewel for "spite". Why they kept him this year or last year, I don't have a clue. Maybe they were giving him ANOTHER chance to prove himself, so now that it hasn't happened AGAIN. The coaches have told our QB's to avoid #80, even if he's open, is that the evil plan? We are now the Yankees and Red Sox signing and holding on to players, so others can't get an Pro Bowl WR....LOL!!!

he comes in and catches balls on rare occasions. what more can he do if he is never put on the field? Even Jarrett haters like Gannt report he has looked good in practice over the past couple seasons.

Well obviously someone in the front off likes him and wants him to play. This is something we can agree on; otherwise he would not be here still. In the same token, last year Bud Adams told Jeff Fisher to play Vince Young. We know the FO and Owner have the capability and power for this to happen. If they are so enamored with him, then why does Richardson or Hurney not just put their foot down? I'm sure they have seem him look good in these practices and if they truely wanted him out there, they could have him out there.

Not sure even Jerry is gonna cross that line. You can force Fox to deal w/ a certain roster....but telling him he has to do something imo is a very risky line for an owner to take w/ his coach.

Regardless it was one big cluster*uck. But that is what this season looks to be. Might as well just start an official countdown until Fox is gone. I also don't believe Gantt's bs that it is about money as the main reason Fox is a lameduck. Fox is lameduck b/c he is an average coach whose resume hasn't quite leveled out to show what he really is.
