learn to read bro... I compared their situation among some people here... not their playing ability...

Kris Jenkins was a victim of it too...

I have reading comprehension problems as you know :D but most posters on here don't want to run him out of town because of something he did or said. Mainly because he sucks and u and CRA are the only ones that haven't figured that out yet.

pretty sure that was just your everyday standard nothing remark from Hurney. Like Hurney is going to point out Fox's flaws on the radio.

again, if he was showing all this stuff off the field in addition not getting on the field he would have been cut. Jarrett has looked solid when put on the field.

I think you and realdeal are to Jarrett what PanthersFanForLife is to Moore.

but again, guys like you are putting all your stock in JOHN FOX not putting him on the field as the end all be all. 2007-present day Fox is shown enough questionable roster management that you can't get away with that.

Jarrett hasn't sucked when put on the field on Sundays. Jarrett rarely gets on the field though. If he was a walking retard then it would have been easy for the Panthers to cut him. He has even asked to be released and they won't do it. They have let guys they just went out and wasted picks on go..... There is enough info tossed around to show Fox and others disagree on him.

Ya know, the bottom line, to me, is that Jr paid the cost for him to be here (money, time, draft pick), so we're invested in a guy who could possibly contribute to our team but hasnt shown enough to garner any value in a trade. The logical thing to do if the kid can play is to keep him on the roster and find a reduced role for him.

The Sloth still has potential to be something but perhaps he's just not dynamic enough to use realistically in a game. I mean, you gotta have more than one tool, man. The moment you show predictability in a fight, youre done, unless you do that thing soooo fuggin well that your opponent cant stop it even if they know its coming.

Edit: oh yeah and what was that comment Fox made recently. . Something about how he hates dealing with all the "crap" of young players being big fish where there coming from. Dealing with ego's and what not. I wonder if that statement pointed partly at Jarrett?

We have to put him in a position where he can be successful (and it really does seem to me that they are trying) but . . Idk, its possible that we may not have enough snaps to go around for him.

The Sloth just needs a chance! He will help the Panthers matriculate the ball downfield!!!

I thought you didn't like 5 yard dump off passes?

You DO realize thats about all Jarrett catches right?

How can you say one person, not naming any names, needs to learn to throw the ball down field yet jock sniff someone that has proven time and time again he doesn't run anything longer than 8 yard routes?

So those 3rd/4th & Long catches he made against NY didn't count?

If a gm were to trade for him they would be fired. He is one of the few Hurney busts

I'd call him one of the few Don Gregory busts.

Every once in a while, Jarrett shows up with a nice catch. That's why people want to keep him. He's not consistent though, and performances like the one against the Pats (where his not knowing where he was supposed to be kept resulting in drive-killing illegal motion and illegal shift penalties) do a lot to erase those highlights.

The majority of NFL coaches will take a consistently average to above-average player over a "feast or famine" guy every time.
