Vick or Brees

I never thought I'd have this problem. I grabbed Vick right after his Week 1 breakout and he's been sitting on my bench racking up points. I offered to trade him but the best offer I got was Shiancoe on Minny straight up for Vick...glad I refused that.

Now my only problem is I've got Brees as my starting QB. I just can't put him on the bench, but Vick has been outscoring him by about 10 points each week. I think Brees is far more consistant but Vick has the potential to win a week totally on his own...who's the better play?

People are going to start figuring out Vick...might not be this week, but it will happen. Philly's defense is stinking so they're being forced to put up serious points. It won't last.

The skins are 30th against the pass..I am starting him over Brady this week.

It's a toss up... much as I hate to say it Brees will probably burn us so I may stick with him. G5 has a point, but I doubt the Redskins will have much of an answer for Vick this week... If Brees wasn't playing the Panthers, I'd say go with Vick.

i think you're good playing either.

guy in my league drafted P. Manning in the first round and then picked up Vick off waivers just like you. He wants to trade him, but no one is biting. the points put up by those two are almost the same in that league right now.

do you have a 3rd QB? Who is your starting TE?

Shianco typically gets lots of fantasy points...not sure where he is this year.

Brees has a strained MCL. It's not going to sideline him, but his mobility is going to suffer. And if our LB corp can get through their O-Line... Brees is gonna get punished. I'd start Vick... he's on a rebound.

you did right trying to trade him. probably the #1 trade guy right now. sucks you didnt get any value for the offer.

Brightside: With Brees health in question, you are sitting nice with Vick on your bench. Hang on to him. Dont trade him for a TE. Brees might be hurt worse than anyone knows. Or, he might get hurt in the near future. Madden Curse and all. Of course, with my bias, i hope not.

My starting WR's are MSW, Wes Welker, Larry Fitz. Guy with Vernon Davis has Anquan Boldin (who I'd trade straight up for Vick for the flex position)

I'm starting Vick this week. Panthers D has picked off a lot of passes between Eli and Carson Palmer, and Vick is playing a horrible Redskins D. Might be the only week besides Brees bye that I start him. I think I'm gunna hold onto him. My backup was Eli Manning and I just dropped him. Brett Favre is in the waiver wire if I need a backup...

Ugh... Brett Favre is my FFB nightmare QB. I had him once... the year he led the league in interceptions (he was still in GB).
