Is Brees hurt???

I heard that Brees was wearing a brace and plans to wear one for the game, so he's obviously not 100%. If the knee is sore enough for him to wear a brace then it's hard to believe it won't affect his play to some degree.

I'm more focused on us not turning the ball over multiple times than I am on Brees. We've kicked our own ass these last 3 games, didn't matter who the opponent was. If the Falcons are good enough to beat the Saints by running the ball down their throat 50 times then so are we.

If I were Greg Williams, I'd cool the jets a bit this week. One nasty hit on Clausen may equal one on Brees' tender knee/leg. May not want to chance that one.

Hey, if you go after our QB then it makes your quarterback fair game in my opinion and I'd like to see how far the Saints get without Brees...

Did GW say something? Payton basically shut him up last year before the SB, and I think that moratorium is still mostly in effect.

Besides, the Saints don't injure rookie Qb's - they intercept them. (See: Stafford, Sanchez, Kolb (who was like a rookie), etc.... last season).

Saint fans ought to be happy that Williams is not our defensive coordinator. Otherwise we would be planning to take some late shots on that knee to get him out of the game. By his mentality a 15 yard penalty or two would be worth knocking him out of the game.

Watch more games and listen to less Dan Patrick and other Favre apologists.

I do watch the Saints and other games. I also watched Williams when he was with Washington. He has always been dirty and a cheap shot advocate. But in the NFL, that often works. I actually grew up in the era where many guys were dirty and it was part of the game.
