if there is no season or draft next year...

does the finish order carry over to the following year? it would seem so.

the only silver lining from dismal play is a good draft position the following year. since we still have our first round pick, and it could easily be a top 5 pick, would that carry over to '12 if there is no draft or season in '11?

it would make sense that it would.

I was f**king amped up when i saw that live haha. What a manly play. Go eat a dick D-hall

For years he was my least favorite player in NFC South. When Jake did that, I started screaming cause I knew this will be remembered for years to come

my question would be... if there is no football in 2011 then in 2012 will there be extra rounds or extra pics because there will be the class of 2011 and 2012 coming out of college (there for being double the amount of talent)? or will they stick with 7 rounds and 1 pick per round, and all the extra players go to the supplamental draft as usual?

The draft of 2011 happens no matter what. Then, like the guy up there said, it would probably be like the NHL Draft after the strike. Or, of course, if there are scab players, then the 2012 draft would still be based on wins/losses the previous year.

If the NFL is that stupid, they deserve to never have football again. I paid 2800 bucks to watch this sorry football here in Charlotte, so think about all the stupid other people like me here, and across the country. You think they will allow a stoppage? If they do, they are stupid

    • No one is asking him to be Tom Brady. They're just asking him to be as good if not better than Cooper Rush, Jimmy Garoppolo and Carson Wentz. We'd like Young to be better than Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield, but we're not even asking for that. No matter how you cut it he's going to be considered a bust for what was given up for him. He should be outpacing Cam Newton, Jake Delhomme and Kerry Collins game for game in their careers. He should at least be challenging the clutch level of Brady, Mahomes, Stafford, Goff, Garoppolo, Burrow, Hurts and Purdy. Remember that's based on the draft capital given up for Young, and not the extremely low bar Young has actually set for himself.
    • Even if you cherry pick Bryce post benching and ignore everything else and project it out over a full season….. there is no statistical  argument Kyler has ever been worse.   I’m no Murray fan as I agree he is more athlete than QB.   And I’m open to Bryce improving and support us continuing to develop him as this point.
    • We need LBs--build the roster from the bottom up.  On offense, we have Coker who has been huge...if you fill your weaknesse without having to use free agent $$$ or draft picks--win win.
