Smith hopes Panthers have learned from conservative approach last year vs. Saints

here we go "reading between the lines" and getting into the players heads again....

Not really. It's a simple matter of deduction.

1. Smith is a smart dude.

2. He's obviously sick of the way we run the Offense

3. It's probably not taken 7-8 years for him to get sick of Fox's M.O.

4. If he's choosing to say something now, then he's obviously ready to deal with the consequences... like other "disruptions" have been dealt with.

Kris Jenkins being out of shape and having 2 tackles and then having the gall to call out his teammates as being soft and having no heart in a locker room interview is much different than Smitty saying we should learn from last years game against a good opponent by not backing down if we get up. Not even close to the same.

That being said, Smith was obviously speaking rhetorically, because there is no chance in hell we get up 17 on the Saints, unless Brees goes in for a biopsy for that poo on his face and can't make it until the fourth quarter.

I'm not saying Smith is playing as badly as Jenkins was. I'm simply pointing out how the Panthers organization deals with players who don't walk the media walk the way the Front Office tells them to, and are open and unapologetic about team problems with the media.

While I understand your logic, from a pure business standpoint Kris Jenkins and Chris Harris don't make JR the money Smitty does. Why do you think Peppers was kept here against his will for god knows how many years? Awful lot of #90 jerseys in the stands.

I don't think this is a small jab at all. This is a calling out of Fox and Davidson pointblank and he unloaded.

unloaded a big poo right on his desk before fox can pop in his first stick of gum

This is by no means a damn disruption seriously he is frustated but he is also making sure it is known that we must attack attack attack. Even if he said it in the meetings he wants it out there, I think he knows we can beat this team by staying aggressive he didn't knock anyone he stated the obvious last year we were up big and thought we could PROTECT THE LEAD. NOT versus this high powered offense he wants to win and this is how we can win.

EDIT can compare Jenks injury ir next season first game injury ir back to back call out team when your not laying it on the line is a major no no. We let him go because he is injury prone two years in NYJ two years on IR poo seems like we knew something was up
