Talked to my dad there yesterday. I've been on the west coast all week and had no idea how much ya'll were getting. That's just crazy. Muni will be nice and green next weekend.

I don't know... there's so much standing water it'll probably kill the grass...

I haven't heard any "life threatening" incidents, have any of you?

Wilmington get much more rain and you'll be able to take the USS North Carolina out for a spin! (Actually that would be pretty cool!)

In Boston, they take the USS Constitution out and turn her every so often! That would be really cool!

Actually she would just flood as she's stuck in the mud. It would be pretty cool to take that thing on a cruise.

They actually were talking about moving it up to Norfolk to fix the hull and then bring it back and put in on the east side of the river floating, but I think they've scrapped that plan since it was going to cost so much.

They'll eventually have to move it out of the mud or it will deteriorate too much to fix.

Back in the Mid-90's my then Finacee and her Dad and his girlfriend took a cruise on a Liberty ship from Wilmington down the Cape Fear to where it opened out then turned around and cruised back.

Her Father servered in WWII about a Liberty Ship like the John W Brown. It was a lot of fun. They played 40's music and the crew were dressed like sailors (even though it was a Merchant Marine ship, I'm not sure they actually wore uniforms) during that time.

My wife just called and said it's flooded in our neighborhood again... I had gone home at lunch and the water was way down... I didn't even notice it had rained a lot again this afternoon...
