I'm still a John Fox Guy. What is wrong with me.

Two examples doesn't mean they're the only ones. Fox's boring, lifeless schemes cause lots of boring, lifeless players.

You must have just became a fan. The history is that no matter how bad the season going or how many injuries. The team would always end on a high note. They never quit and always fight too the end. Say what you want about boring the team never tuned him out or didn't give their best effort.

I agree.

There hasn't been a single season in Fox's tenure here that the Panthers weren't at least in the hunt come December, no matter how the season started out.

With that said, I'm not sure how I'd feel about Fox coming back after all this talk about him having a foot out the door already.

yeah my bad, colts were still dead last though

True.

They do have this guy, though:

dallas-clark.jpg

Who, in my opinion, is one of the best players in the league, and they use him in short yardage in times where we'd typically run. (Both teams have had success with their different approaches in these situations, mind you.)

It's just a shame two of your "FACTS" are stupid opinionated responses on your part...please.

Ok, guy, what's not a fact about fact #1? So, you're basically saying the Chiefs have clinched something? Or they're going to be great just because they started 3-0? What's opinionated about stating that nobody's clinched anything? Or that, despite the fact that Arian Foster ran for 200+, the Texans still are running a 101/88 pass/run ratio after 3 weeks of football, so they're not a running team by design, they don't follow that philosophy, and neither do the Eagles, whom are also passing more, but have had a top 5 rusher in two of these 3 weeks?

If your going to bring nonsense like that on here, at least not try to sound like 6th grade retard while delivering it.

Awww, Cat'sGrowl89's got his anus in a sling because I basically effortlessly ruined his argument when he had like 2 other guys agreeing with him and thought he made a good point, when anyone who cares to logically dissolve it a bit more can see it was a poo argument in the first place with zero conceptualization within the nooks and crannies. And if I wanted to display the expressions of a 6th grade retard I would just post your picture, like i'm doing here

i-can-count-to-potato.png

Outperformed?

Don't be so confused, I did write that in my post, you don't have to question that I said that

Please.

Stop trying to sound like a fat girl from 1987. "OMG He said THAT?! PUUUHHHHHLLLEEEEAAASSEE"

Your not even taking into account the quality of the teams, which was "SUPRISE" the same garbage you threw at me!!

Jets: 9-7

Titans: 8-8

Panthers: 8-8

Dolphins: 7-9

Ravens: 9-7

Texans: 9-7

Colts: 14-2

Patriots: 10-6

Saints: 13-3

Chargers: 13-3

Ok, so on the passing side we've got the three best teams in the NFL last year, while on the rushing side, we've got 3 of the most average teams in the NFL last year. I don't know if that's a good point or nonsense. Maybe Cat'sGrowl89, the zen master of good points/nonsense can let us know whether or not it is. What about the fact that two of the top passing offenses were in the superbowl? Is that nonsense? What do you consider to not be nonsense? Any piss poor observation your pathetic intellect can somehow manage to poo out?

What's that you were saying again?

I'm saying that you don't have a fuging clue about what you are talking about, despite the fact that you claim any opposing viewpoint is garbage.

"OMGGG?!!! Some of those teams wif top rusherz AREN'T running teams? PUUHLLLLEEEEAAASSEERREEEEE!!!!!111!!!!!"

not being eliminated mathematically from playoff contention by december like 25 other teams

Right here, homey.

And I think it's time for you to chill.

Debating with someone isn't even anywhere close to interesting if they're going to spaz out and go lunatical.

Perfect example: Your recent posts.

Your looking more and more like a child, and any credibility your posts may have obtained (which, mind you, was very little to begin with, considering they were warped views on the facts) evaporates even faster.

I think you need to take some Midol, throw on a hot rag over the old noggin, and reevaluate your current state of sanity, good man.

No, I think debating with someone isn't even anywhere close to interesting if you raise good points and your opponent retaliates with vain, hackneyed personal attacks while offering no actual counterpoint, and then reverting back to a calm state when the other guy responds and trying to save face by hiding behind the "Well i'm just levelheaded is all i am you're irrational" curtain of fraud.

Dude, then explain why. Man up and make a counterpoint. Put your big boy pants on and do the research, and come back to me with something substantial instead of trying to create misconceptions about me to spread your stubborn ignorance to the impressionable posters and lurkers who visit and read this site because until then, you've got nothing on me. You've lost. You just look like more of a jackass. But at least 2 people gave you pie so I guess your whole participation in this thread, no matter how weak it was, isn't a complete wash after all.

Oohhh, menstrual references, how original. it really brings out the logic in that pointless observation you made and completely conceals your flat deceptive sequence of posting.

Oh gee, another "rage" post full of insults, paranoid accusations, and no factual evidence of personal opinion. How refreshing. Here. You want some facts? I'll give you the same statistics you gave me, except this time, we'll back it up a year. One year. Not really enough time for the "FACE OF THE NFL TO DRASTICALLY CHANGE!!" if you ask me.

2008 Top 5 Passing Team Records

1. New Orleans 8-8 (Lost their division to the 2nd, 3rd, and 15th ranked team in total rushing)

2. Arizona 9-7 (No team in their division finished above 19th in total rushing yards)

3. Denver 8-8 (Lost division to also 8-8 San Diego, both teams had mediocre rushing attacks with dominant passing attacks, San Diego had the 7th best passing attack)

4. Houston 8-8 (Lost division to the number 7 ranked rushing team in the NFL)

5. Indianapolis 12-4 (Lost their division to the number 7 ranked rushing team in the NFL)

2008 Top 5 Rushing Team Records

1.New York 12-4 (Won division)

2.Atlanta 11-5 (Finished 2nd in division behind no. 3 ranked NFL rushing team)

3.Carolina 12-4 (Won division)

4. Baltimore 11-5 ( Finished 2nd in division behind no. 23 ranked rushing team)

5. Minnesota 10-6 (Won division)

In other words, because of this argument, your argument holds no weight.

I can't imagine a practical way to settle this debate, due to the simple fact that there are so many factors in going into how dominant a team is.

For instance, a great passing team can take on a great running team, and win, simply because the running team's defense was awful in comparison with the passing teams. Unfortunately, the stats, don't care to share that information with us. At least not without some heavy research, which frankly at this hour, I don't care enough to do.

You live by sword you die by it. If you run or pass too much then you are being too predictable.( see pass Cowboys up to this past week) (see run panthers up to recent). Cowboys didn't win till they got their run game back, we won't till we get a balanced run pass game. Look that up on NFL .com and smoke it!

I agree with this completely as well. Until we develop a formidable passing attack (which we should hopefully have soon) the run game won't be able to do it's thing. Just like New Orleans had a dominant passing game (as in, 1 ranked statistically), but couldn't finish above .500 because of their poor rushing attack (as in, like, 32nd statistically.)

Cat'sGrowl89 keep in mind i'm not arguing that primarily passing is better i'm arguing against the idea that primarily running is better like you said it was, so you basically wasted your time trying to prove that just passing the ball more than running it isn't a better idea, remember keep in mind it is crucial to pay attention to what the point I'm making exactly is

I advocate a balanced offense

And as do I.

Good night, Mr. Raging Bull.
